Delivery of a brand new Android app for Nespresso customers.

  • Lead the end-to-end user experience and design for the new Nespresso Boutique global Android app.
  • Actively partner with iOS design peers to ensure cross-platform consistency and maintain brand alignment across mobile applications while keeping platform specific behaviours in mind.
  • Collaborate continuously within an agile squad, working alongside Development, Product Owners, Product Experts, Business Analysts, and Technical Leadership to craft effective and intuitive user experiences.
  • As part of a lean design team (3-4 members) forming the native apps team, actively push to elevate the standard of design quality and promoting user-centricity across projects within the company.
  • Navigate technical limitations and project constraints, finding pragmatic and creative solutions to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Ensure design solutions are scalable and flexible to accommodate the varying needs of different international markets and localised requirements.
  • Contribute to refining design processes and Ways of Working, improving the team’s effectiveness and advocating for methodologies that ensure quality delivery under tight deadlines.
  • Co-established the foundational Design System from scratch as part of our small, efficient team; contributing actively to defining, documenting, and evolving reusable components and design standards.
The Android app was launched to USA and UK markets in September 2024, expanding to 7 more markets in April 2025. Rollout will continue to all markets globally in the months following.
